Denton Associates started working with CWT when they found their first, temporary space in the UK. They asked us to have it ready for occupation as soon as possible and we ensured that they moved in 10 days after signing the lease. A permanent office was selected five weeks later and again we handed over the completed office on time and under the originally agreed budget.
Naturally they turned to us when it was again time to move again. Their new offices are state-of-the-art and more than doubles the firm's previous office capacity, providing room for over 100 lawyers. The new offices are designed to help Cadwalader better serve its clients by providing legal and administrative staff a unique work area.
With advanced technological capabilities, an eight-room conference suite (expandable to offer theatre seating for 65), a catering kitchen, and rest and relaxation rooms, the firm now has the flexibility to enhance efficiencies and collaboration among practice groups and improve their level of client service by providing ample room to hold meetings and presentations, conduct negotiations, and prepare for litigation or closings.
The design uses an 'interior window' - glazed office walls used in conjunction with glass doors - maximizing natural light in the space while minimizing the tunnel effect of corridors. Maple, glass, stainless steel, and a neutral colour scheme have been incorporated to create a feel of simple style and sophistication.
